I decided to start this blog for all my family members and friends so you can check up on me. Instead of me emailing you all my pics and updates, etc. you can click on this website and see what we have been up to. Hopefully it won't be too booorring. But then, life in this househould never is when you have Jared and Tessa around!!! If you know what I mean.

Too many pipes!!!

So here's all the plumbing and pipes. The inner workings of a pool. Next week is the gunite.

Thar's a big hol' in our yard.

So we are now digging the big hole in the yard for the much needed pool. They keep saying it's going to be the "hottest summer ever". I thought last summer was the hottest summer ever. Anyways, as you can see they've dug the hole and did the rebarb throughout. My favorite pic is the "Say No to Crack" pic of who else, Rachel and Tessa. They were laughing so hard every time that poor guy bent over. You have to click on that pic to really see it.

Jared's a yellow belt!!! HAyyyy Yaaahhhh!!

Jared and Tessa have benn taking karate. But since Tessa was more interested in playing with friends than going to class she didn't test. But Jared was determined to get that yellow belt. Next session I'll be taking it with them. I told them I was going to "kick their butt". That is, if I don't fall down first. Which if you know me, that will probably happen.

Griffith Observatory

The Griffith Observatory is actually in the Hollywood Hills but if you click on the images you can see the picutres better and see that from the top you can see all the way to the ocean. The one of Tessa is Downtown L.A. in the background.

Griffith Observatory

They closed down the Griffith Observatory for 4 years due to renovation. It recently opened up and this was our first time to see it. They have a great planetarium show that the kids loved. Following are some pics. If you look real hard in the photo of us you will see the 'Hollywood" sign behind us.

Rose Parade Floats

No, we didn't go to the parade. But we did go see the floats on display the day after. This was our first time. We couldn't find the Star Wars ones, I'm not sure if they were even up. But here are some up close and personal.
