Summer of Fun 07

Lori came with the kids. Tessa and Jared love to hang around teenagers. Here is Lori doing the Macarana. Angela and Juliana hangin' out. And we celebrated Jared's birthday on his real day. Spongebob style.
Pretty much our whole summer has been swimming in the pool. I have to say it's the best investment we ever made.

Jared's 10th Birthday Swim Party.

Yep, call me crazy. I even hired a lifeguard but it was pure madness. You think I would of learned from Tessa's, but noooo.
A few wild, out of control ones can make everything complete chaos.
Pool toys torn apart, lifequard trying to save himself and, oh by the way, give me a drink please. It was this party that we decided, "Hey Jared, next year do you want a party or money" . To which he replied, "Money". He said he would of taken the money years ago if we had offered it to him. Wow, why didn't we think of this before.

Dad comes to town.

This is how I see Dad now. Taking pictures everywhere we go. We went to the Farmers Market in Santa Monica and decided to walk across the street to see the ocean. I mean, if you drive all the to the beach you have to at least look at the ocean. So we probably look like a couple of tourists with our cameras but, it's what we like to do.

Tessa's 7th Birthday Party

American Idol of course. Imagine a house of ten, screaming, high pictched , energized bunny girls running around in a spastic frenzy. Please remind me never to throw another party at the house even with Tessa's sad puppy eyes pleading!!!
I was picking up glittery stars for days!! Why was I thinking a 3 hour party instead of 2. My mind must of lapsed for awhile.
Of course Tessa had a blast and I guess that's all that matters. Believe it or not, even shy lil' Tessa got up there to sing in the microphone.
