Hollywood is for tourists.....not!!!

So even though we live here in "lala land" we have never taken the kids to Hollywood. So me and Jen grabbed our cameras and made like crazy tourists to the heart of tourist trap mania. First we took a tour of the "Kodak Theatre" and got our once in a lifetime chance to sit in the front row next to the cutouts to the likes of George Clooney and Johnny Depp. Tessa got to sit next to Hannah Montana and told me she would never wash her hand again. Then the kids hammed it up with the "look a like" stars for a mere dollar. Of course we had to go to Graums Chinese Theatre where Tessa is putting her hands and feet in Will Smiths hand prints. Jared....he is standing in Harrison Fords footprints and to no surprise fits into his footprints perfectly. Off to the "Ripleys Believe it Or Not" museum where Ana got a little spooked out from the disturbing and gruesome oddities. Then to the kids fave restaurant.....U-Wink where you order from a computer then play games on the computer. (Thanks Jen) (saying that sarcasticly). Oh but we couldn't leave before visiting the "souvenir shop" and picking up a few momentos. Jared a "Rocky" t-shirt, Tessa a sign that says "Drama Queen Drive" and a gold oscar for Johnny that says "Best Father" that he can put on his shelf at work with all his other hand made momentos from the kids. Tessa didn't want to leave Hollywood. She wants to be a "stah".

Jared Turns 11.......really?

We didn't have a real birthday party. Kind of a "end of the school year, last day of school, Jared's birthday, party." So he only got to invite a few friends. Yes....I learned my lesson from last year. The picture of Jared and his friend....yep, they are the same age. Actually Jackson is just a little older than Jared....but most of his friends happen to be about that tall. And why is it that everyone is always sticking out their tongues in these pics????? Good times.
